Team was established on September 12th of 1978 in Grand Rapids Michigan as an independent EPS block molding company named Marne Industries. Marne was purchased by Team Industries Inc. on August 1st of 1995. Team Industries has grown to become a world class manufacturer of expanded polystyrene based products with a commitment to innovation and quality. Our passion for quality and innovation has translated into products that provide our customers greater value.
In March of 2003 Team Industries Inc. purchased IBS of Winchester Va. and changed the name to Team/IBS. By purchasing IBS, an existing AFM licensed facility, Team Industries Inc. doubled its size. The acquisition of Team/ IBS has allowed Team Industries Inc. to effectively service a large and expanding customer base in the Eastern half of the Unites States.
The Team Industries facilities in Grand Rapids and Winchester have partnered together with other EPS manufacturers in AFM (Associated Foam manufacturers) to develop, test, and market, consistently high quality EPS products under the R-control brand. R-Control Building Systems set the standard for testing, quality, and uniformity in the EPS industry.
